Maaya Takeda stood on the stage of a live event named “Legend of the divas” at Take Off 7, Shibuya.
It has been about 40 years since the live music club “Take Off 7” was established. Dreams Come True, Lindberg, and Princess Princess, which were Japanese famous bands, performed there.
Maaya appeared on a stage for the first time in 8 months because the COVID-19 epidemic made her live show cancelled. She sang 5 songs, including 2 new songs in the live event.
“What is the meaning of my existence?”
She said that she sometimes thought of herself.
“Maybe, I feel that my existence or myself is co-designed by myself and the people around myself. I have myself what I want to be. The people, for example, my staff and my fans, have my vision or image. Those things get mixed together and myself is fixed. However, it’s not always myself what I want to be.”
Her song “Truth Proof” was written from that thought.
